Eddy's Extreme Enduro, organised by Fast Eddy Racing, played host to be the first round of the European Extreme Enduro Championship. With a strong field of riders from around Europe, it was Knight who led the competition home.

"This was a tough event like you wouldn't believe,” told Knight. “The ground seems to change every time you race at Tong and due to the wet weather in the week and the ruts it became difficult to lap the slower riders.
“I managed to get my head down and keep out of too much trouble. I’m happy to have won here again.”

Keeping David honest all race, Paul Bolton had a fantastic ride to finish as the runner up...
"That was the hardest Eddy's Extreme at Tong ever I reckon. I knew I'd struggle to catch David after a big mistake on the first lap but I'm really happy with a good solid second place."
Bringing home his best ever extreme race result in third, ex trials rider Jonathan Richardson managed to keep the current BEC champion Tom Sagar in fourth and International racer Mario Roman in fifth at bay.
Round two of the European Extreme Enduro Championship now heads to Lagares, Portugal on May 23/24.
