Rather go for the OXBRAKE, its cable operated and works like a bomb, it is very simple to install.

I have no idea as to the new cost, not cheap though. It would be great if you could ask him - thanks!

Thanks TB, I’ll look into Ox Brake kits. Are they sold in the good old RS of A?

See if you can buy just the Master Cylinder Sleeve:
https://rekluse.com/support/parts/?itemId=RMS-5314A
MASTER CYLINDER SLEEVE - Y
And the Oring. (For whatever bike you ride)
Get a Hydro brake master from any mountainbike shop, or from a crashed MTB (The one in the Rekluse kit is actually a HAYES Gram), and the hose from any MTB shop (i bought the Shimano one)
Will work out cheaper.
You can also weld up the inspection eye on a spare rear brake master for your bike, and tap a hole in the cap for the fitment of a banjo bolt, and buy the MTB bits. It works just as well. Make sure the cap seals. It usually has vent slots. Seal those. Or weld the cap up too.

Thanks MrBraap! Will look into this if all else fails.

New LH rear hand brake cost R5700-00.
First time Im seeing a pic of one. That looks like it can get smashed off quite easily when dropped. Or is it just the pic?

For some reason I imagined it sat under the clutch lever somehow?

I would also be keen to know and hear what he thinks of it.
