yep
There are quiet a few riders with long 20+ hours per day, maybe this includes a 10 hour penalty?
, I assume that AB3 means she did not finish day 3 and you are allowed a throw-away day to still class as a finisher

Either you’re a gold finisher or you’re not. I don’t get why some get a gold finish despite not doing 100% of the day’s route. 10/10 for the attempt, but still. It reminds me of a certain someone who also got a gold finish at the 2016 ROA who also didn’t do 100% of the route.

If I'm thinking of the same person, she went back the following year and got gold again without missing a cut out section!

it is in the rules, not an on-the-day decision and is probably to cover off a host of reasons, and looking at some of those sections i think 3.5/4 qualifies (in SA doesn't 1.5/4 qualify you as a matriculant :LOL:)
