Strange that it has not been mentioned before.
I Pitted for a friend at the Roof this year, and must say the Yamaha Blu Cru was awesome.
After each day we droped the bike at the very profesional looking Blu Cru tent and picked it up the next mornig all ready cleaned and serviced.
Very impressed with with Adrian and his team.
In addition it gave me time to have an extra couple of beers and not service and clean the bike.
WELL DONE YAMAHA

Hey Ian. They put a lot into this. At least I could hand the bike over, full in a job card and then go drink. Those were then my first drinks of the day.

I understand that fully, Adrian and I are good mates, so it is a bit of banter (thank fcuk not banting) but I still didn't see any of BULLs superior suspension bikes on the podium, it was only a 3 tier podium :icon_e_biggrin:

I saw a thing on vleisbroek about TT stopping and helping some bronzies taht helped him up a ledge. The two front runners didnt. Despite BigMacs comments about him after getting roosted fecked up some time back, that shows character.

Mike gets upset with anyone faster than him.

When the little 250 out performed his 450 at De Wildt last week he had two excuses / comebacks...

1. You roosted me.
2. Yeah, but look how much fuel you used :gives:

I don't think anyone would expect the leaders, who are entangled in a 9 second duel for the title, to stop and help bronze riders, who are there for the joy of riding.

Agreed 100%. But one of them did, which was the point.

Absolutely brilliant setup that Yamaha had going there, great vibe and awesome service. Adriaan was still running around like a headless chicken at some ungodly time of the evening on Wed after everything seemed to be going pear shaped yet they managed to pull it all together and deliver an amazing service to their customers. Big kudos to Yamaha for the effort.

And because I know someone who knows someone else I was fortunate enough to skollie a ride in this yellow beast. I'm not a quad fan by a long shot but FML, this is one very sweet piece of Yamaha porn. The sound alone has you frothing at the bum and that suspension... Yoh Yoh Yoh

A few years ago oldfart had one of these at a harescramble.

We were cruising along a little path (we thought) , and on the other side of the stream this thing was fecking off proper. Not the same terain, but it was flipping hauling arse. Lottery money would definitely have me considering one of those.
