That's the problem with silly season, so many things are going on and they all depend on each other. I think KTM/Husky is greedy when it comes to riders. They have Walker, Coddy, Teddy, Letti, Jarvis, Billy, Gomez and that American rider ?

Sherco basically just has the two youngsters and they are kicking ass ... now this monopoly player (KTM/Husky monopoly capital :icon_rolleyes:) will try and destroy Sherco by offering big money to Wade.
Which is really great for Wade who is trying to earn a decent living in this game

Agree with that, in this sport he is a global superstar and deserves to make good money. These guys put their bodies on the line and dont have very long at the top (with the exception of Jarvis) so they need to make it while they can.

What about Taddy, Letti and Bolton ?

Letti and Bolton were never really at the top and Bolton definitely didn't make loads of money. He still has a day job fixing trucks I think.

Taddy has been off the top for a long time in extreme enduro, but he has made a decent living from endurocross and good sponsorships

Jarvis is the only old bloke who can still win races, but he is starting to show signs of his age and slowing down.

[emoji469][emoji95] Wade Young will be in "SHERCO BLUE" for the next three seasons! [emoji1221][emoji95]

After three beautiful years of collaboration, we are pleased to announce that Sherco Racing Factory and Wade Young have reached an agreement and will continue their common adventure! [emoji1666]

Jordan Curvalle , Team Manager [emoji187] : "I'm obviously very happy about Wade's contract extension ..... the first time I saw him was in 2015 at the Bassella race in Spain and he impressed me with his speed! Before that I knew him only by name and by results in Xtreme ....
The start of Xtreme racing in 2016 presented us with huge challenge, we have been learning for the past 3 seasons. The team has progressed well, and we are now having some very good results!
I am very happy that we will continue our adventure together and the goal is to win even more races!"

We definitely can't wait for this 2019 Season !

I will be honest that at the start I really did not think that wade had the right skills to make it in the extreme enduro discipline and had him tagged as a missed opportunity for FIM Enduro. The past year has shown me how wrong i was. He may not be as skilled as the trials riders but he gets the job done - a feat that i imagine involves a lot more hard work than the trials rides need - and for that i happily admit that I was wrong and wish him all the best in his career.

I am not sure what family support he has when he is overseas, but it seems like he is on his own, and to then add the hard mental discipline required in extreme races is really impressive

That's what I also thought same about his trials riding , but it seems they have helped him a long way in that respect. He is now as good as anyone in the trials type sections, and he does it with his unique aggressive style ... remember Sherco started out as a trials bikes manufacturer, he stays at the Sherco factory ... I have no doubt that he rides trials bikes there a lot

On the family front, he has a girlfriend there, don't know if she is European or if he took a local lass there with him ?
